Guides
Finding the model number on a Dyson
The serial number is on a rating plate on the machine. On the V6 and DC59 it's on the main body behind the clear bin, as it is on the V8 Cyclone. The V7 and V11 have it on the base instead, and so do most of the newer sticks. You'll find separate serial numbers on the battery and charger, and typing the machine's serial into Dyson's spare-parts pages brings up the right parts.
